On 1 August 2025, the Supreme Court issued its final ruling on motor finance commission claims.
Following this, on 3 August 2025, the FCA confirmed that most successful claims are now expected to result in average redress of £950 or less. The regulator also announced it intends to consult on a formal compensation scheme, with further details due in 2025.
